The Company has a modern scientific research base and mini pharmaceutical plant. The Company employs a highly-skilled scientific staff of biochemists, immunologists, pharmacologists, oncologists, and others. Medicines created in the research laboratories of the Company "Alexis” have no analogs in the world due to the fact that active substances of these medicines are plant natural peptides, which at first were used as medicines.

We carry out research in the following directions: the study of medicinal plants and endemic plant of Georgia and Caucasus in terms of their content of potential new bioactive peptides; the identification and study of properties of new bioactive peptides as immunomodulators, anti-cancer, anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-oxidants, and others; testing of various diagnostic tools; studying their physical-chemical properties, the molecular mechanisms of action of new medicines in order to create effective curative/medical preparations and farther introduction in clinical medicine, manufacturing, regulatory and commercialization activities for the licensed products.
